Old Town’s Lucas Gatorade finalist 

OLD TOWN BASEBALL PLAYER JARRETT LUKAS HAS BEEN NAMED ONE OF THE TWO FINALISTS FROM MAINE FOR THE GATORADE PLAYER OF THE YEAR.
LUKAS IS A PITCHER AND SHORTSTOP AND IS HITTING 480 THIS SEASON FOR THE COYOTES. LAST YEAR HE HIT 585.
LUKAS IS ALSO A GREAT STUDENT AND A MULTI SPORT STANDOUT AT OLD TOWN.

THE OTHER FINALIST FROM MAINE IS JOSH JILLSON A PITCHER FROM OAK HILL WHO LIKE LUKAS HAS ACCEPTED A SCHOLARSHIP TO PLAY AT UMAINE IN THE FALL. MAINE COACH STEVE TRIMPER THINKS LUKAS HAS ATHLETIC ABILITY THAT WILL HELP THE TEAM IN A NUMBER OF WAYS.
