(AP) – State officials say 19-hundred-36 pounds of beef from Bubier Meats may be contaminated with fecal material and other contaminants. The problem was discovered through a federal FDA verification process and observations performed on April 30th and May First.
The recalled meat include sides of beef, 45 bags labeled ":Hamburg,": 35 bags labeled ":Caldwell Farms Beef Certified Organic,": and 450 pounds of beef cuts labeled ":Caldwell Farms.":
The labels on the meat bear the establishment number ":EST. 4.": Bubier did not date or lot code these products.
