Plants Suffering

The folks who run nurseries and greenhouses are thrilled with this weekend’s warm weather…they’re now trying to make up for lost time.

Tim Davis is the grower at Sprague’s Nursery in Bangor…he says this spring has been a tough one for growers in Maine.

The cloudy, cool and wet weather we’ve seen over the past month has caused problems for plants…they’re not growing as well as they should be.

Davis says the plants are about 2 weeks behind right now.

He says this spring’s stormy weather has made business pretty slow, too.
