The first-term lawmaker from district 83 was killed in a skiing accident this past weekend at Sugerloaf.
Most legislative business has been put on hold for Thursday, and flags are flying at half staff.
Holman served on Governor John McKernan’s administration, and was later named executive director of the Maine forest products council.
Witnesses say that she had just crossed the finish line at a race for charity last Saturday at Sugerloaf, when she slid into a tree.
Abby Holman’s funeral is being held at Saint Mary of the Assumption church in Augusta.
