FOR THE FIRST TIME EVER NONE OF THE NUMBER ONE SEEDS HAVE ADVANCED TO THE FROZEN FOUR. THAT’S GOOD NEWS FOR MAINE WHICH WAS RANKED 14th IN THE FINAL REGULAR SEASON POLL. THEIR FIRST ROUND OPPONENT, MICHIGAN STATE, WAS RANKED 10th.

BOSTON COLLEGE AND NORTH DAKOTA IN THE OTHER BRACKET.

BACK TO WORK TUESDAY FOR THE BLACK BEARS. AFTER A 45 MINUTE REVIEW OF THEIR OWN GAMES LAST WEEKEND THEY TOOK THE ICE.

TOO MANY PENALTIES…. THAT WAS ONE OF THE PROBLEMS LAST WEEKEND. STILL MAINE IS FEELING PRETTY GOOD ABOUT GOING TO THE FROZEN FOUR FOR THE 3rd TIME IN 4 YEARS.

CAPTAIN MICHEL LEVEILLE SAYS HE’LL MAKE SURE THAT THE BLACK BEARS WORK HARD AS THEY TRY TO IMPROVE ON ALL THE LITTLE THINGS.
