(WABI) – The Bowring family has lived on the Walker Road for fifteen years.
An electrical fire in 2003 burned down their first home. Lightning struck their second home, causing severe damage. Then, a woodstove fire leveled that home this past November.
The family had been living in a camper on their land until a new home could be built, but an electrical fire last night burned that camper to the ground.
The Red Cross has put the family up in a nearby motel.
Disaster Coordinator Doris Mower says she’s never seen so many fires happen to one family.
Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office are looking for a cause of the latest fire.
The Bowrings say they’re planning to rebuild their house.
