JIM BOYLAN IS NOW A DIVISION ONE BASKETBALL COACH. THE FORMER UMAINE BASKETBALL PLAYER IS ABOUT TO BECOME THE NEW HEAD COACH AT UTAH.

BOYLAN PLAYED AT UMAINE AND WAS CAPTAIN HIS SENIOR YEAR. HE HELPED THE BLACK BEARS BEAT MICHIGAN STATE AT THE BANGOR AUDITORIUM THAT YEAR.

BOYLAN HAPPENS TO BE LEAVING MICHIGAN STATE AS ASSISTANT COACH TO JOIN THE UTES.

BEFORE COACHING WITH TOM IZZO AT MICHIGAN STATE BOYLAN WAS AN NBA ASSISTANT FOR 13 YEARS.

AT MAINE BOYLAN WAS FIRST TEAM ALL CONFERENCE AVERAGING 21 POINTS AS A SENIOR AND FINISHED 2nd IN PLAYER OF THE YEAR VOTING TO REGGIE LEWIS.
