(WABI) – After interviewing more than 70 people, Bangor police arrested, 59-year old Ashton Moores of First street, in connection with the city’s first homicide of the year.
Christina Simonin’s body was found Saturday night near an apartment house on Union Street.
The two teenagers who found the body say it was wrapped in a comforter and a tarp, placed in a plastic bag and buried in the snow.
Residents of 148 Union Street, where Simonin lived, tell us she was evicted about a month ago.
Moores is expected to make his first court appearance Thursday.
