State troopers say three teens were riding in a Jeep Wrangler on the Rome Road around 1 am, when the vehicle hit a telephone pole and rolled over.
None of the teens were wearing seatbelts, and were all ejected from the vehicle as it rolled.
One of the passengers, 16-year-old Jonathan McGrail of Skowhegan, was taken to Reddington-Fairview hospital with life-threatening injuries.
He was later transferred by helicopter to Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.
The driver of the car, 18-year-old Marcel Redmond of Skowhegan, was treated at a hospital and released.
Another passenger, 17-year-old Derek Devaney or Norridgewock, was not injured.
State police say the teens were on their way home from a party when the crash happened.
No word yet on any charges.
