Police say speed played a part in a crash that killed a 19-year-old Augusta man in Sabattus Tuesday.
They say Christopher Clark, who was driving the car, died at a Lewiston hospital shortly after the crash.
Clark lost control, left the road and ran into a large rock.
Two of Clark’s passengers were also injured in the accident.
A third passenger walked away with minor injuries. police say he was the only one in the car wearing a seat belt.
