Lucerne Inn’s Stuffed Statler Chicken Breast 

Statler Chicken Breast, frenched
1 whole wheel of French or Danish Brie Cheese
lb whole butter
5-6 firm apples, cored and diced
2 cups chopped walnuts
2 teaspoons fresh thyme
2 teaspoons fresh parsley
cup fresh chopped shallots

1.Melt butter in pan.
2.Add shallots and apples. Cook until apples are soft.
3.Add walnuts and herbs
4.Add Brie last and cook until brie melts.
5.Chill the stuffing for about 45min-1 hour.
6.Make small incision in chicken breast. Using your finger, push into the incision to make a pocket in the chicken breast. Then stuff chicken when ready.
7.Preheat oven to 350.
8.In frying pan, add butter and stuffed chicken breast.
9.Brown chicken on both sides then place in baking dish and place in oven.
10.Bake stuffed chicken breast for 10-14 minutes.
