A selectman from the town of Stetson has decided to resign following a heated town meeting Wednesday night. He is among the newest group of Stetson town employees and volunteers to resign, following another group of ten that left seven months ago.
The most recent problems began two months ago, when Don Carroll had a hard time finding a paper trail for certain documents. He asked into the problem, but it was never corrected. At this point, there doesn’t appear to be any allegations of wrong doing, just shoddy book-keeping.
The situation might come up again at a special town meeting Friday night at 7pm, unless the meeting is postponed by the weather.
