Jimmy V’s Quick Chili 


1 lb. ground beef

2 cups onions, chopped

1 cup celery, chopped

2 15 oz. cans diced tomatoes in sauce

2 15 oz. cans dark red kidney beans

4 tablespoons of dark chili powder

1 tablespoon garlic pepper seasoning

1 pinch oregano


Put beef, onions and celery in pan and saut until beef is brown and vegetables tender. Add tomatoes, chili powder, garlic pepper seasoning and pinch of oregano. Mix well then simmer for 20 minutes.

*** You may add sliced mushrooms, sliced Italian sausage, Kalamata olives, etc depending on what you like. ***

*** If you want it hotter, add a dash or 2 of Tabasco sauce. ***
