Fairfield Shooting Victim Dies 

(WABI) – A 37-year old woman who was shot inside a home on Bunker Avenue in Fairfield Friday morning has died from her injuries.

37-year old Rhonda Reynolds died Saturday morning at Eastern Maine Medical Center in Bangor.

Reynolds was shot inside a home, located at 22 Bunker Avenue in Fairfield. The home is owner by Mrs. Reynolds’ brother. She moved in with him and his wife Thursday night, after obtaining a protection order against her husband.

State Police say her estranged husband, 40-year old Richard Reynolds of Waterville turned himself into Waterville Police shortly after the shooting.

He’s ben charged with aggrravated attempted murder, but State Police say the charge will be upgrade to murder.

Reynolds is being held at the Somerset County Jail in Skowhegan where he’s awaiting his first court appearance Tuesday morning.
