Patriots nose tackle Vince Wilfork has practiced all week but says he doesn’t know if he’ll play in Sunday’s playoff game against the New York Jets.
Wilfork missed the last three games with a sprained right ankle suffered in a 21-to-0 loss at Miami on December tenth.
Wilfork said today he’s feeling better but won’t know how much better until he gets in a game and has to take on a double team.
And he said missing those games has been frustrating.
He participated during the stretching exercises at the beginning of today’s practice then trotted with his fellow defensive linemen
to his first drill. The six-foot-two, 325-pounder is a key to the Patriots rush defense. He is listed on the team’s injury report as questionable for Sunday’s game.
