Cafe Miranda’s Fabulous Bowl of Meat

This is a great (FABULOUS!) appetizer or lunch item. The way you eat this is take a little of each ingredient in the finished dish, pile it on a romaine leaf, squeeze the lime on it &amp: eat as you would a taco, grease &amp: flavor running down your arm!

10 oz. ground turkey
1/2 cup sliced onion
1 oz. Thai green curry paste
3 oz. vegetable oil
1 tablespoon Thai or Vietnamese fish sauce
2 oz. shredded carrot
4 sprigs fresh cilantro
1/2 lime in wedges
2 oz. thin sliced red onion
6 large leaves of romaine

In a medium skillet on medium-high heat saut the curry paste for 30 seconds (wow what an aroma!). Add onion &amp: turkey then reduce heat, breaking up the turkey with a fork as it cooks, approximately 5 minutes remove from heat, add fish sauce. In a 12&quot: serving dish arrange the romaine in a fan like manner. At the base of the leaves pour the turkey mixture in a tight pile. Garnish with the remaining stuff. DONE! You can prepare all of this well in advance. It can be eaten either hot, at room temp or cold! IT’S FABULOUS!
