Acency Move

AUGUSTAMore than 300 employees at the Maine Department of Labor will move to new offices in the spring.

Renovations at the Central Maine Commerce Center in Augusta will make that move possible.

Upgrades to the former computer assembly plant will cost 3.5 million dollars.

The state says the move will consolidate the agency’s administrative staff under one roof, and save taxpayers about $300,000 a year.
